Brussels, 15 December 2020. The Sustainable Eel Group (SEG) proudly announces that from 13 December 2020 onwards, four German companies are SEG certified to provide responsible sourced eels for the European market. The following companies were successfully assessed against the SEG Standard V6.0a:

Emsland Fischzucht (SEG-0087)
Albe Fischfarm (SEG-0088)
Feinfisch Wechsler (SEG-0089)
Aalhof Götting (SEG-0090)

All companies are members of the German Initiative zur Förderung des Europäischen Aals (IFEA) and the German Eel Stewardship Fund (ESF) as part of the Eel Stewardship Association (ESA).
